Remember Deaf Expo?

I was cleaning my computer room and I found those old Deaf Expo 97 tickets. Click image to view all 4 different tickets — different color represent for each day.

Misty and I went to Deaf Expo 97 in Los Angeles for a weekend. We had a lot of fun there. When we came back home and started sharing Deaf Expo ideas into our local expo called Deaf Celebration in Dallas. Misty become chairperson and I was their PR guy for about five years. Deaf Celebration is already there but it wasn’t that big till we changed it many ways to follow Deaf Expo footstep. It was best thing we ever done.

Deaf Celebration has become major deaf community event annually in DFW area. We are blessing to be part of it. Deaf Celebration will have its expo in October 2006 at Arlington Convention Center.

Deaf Expo 97 sponsored by GLAD, Microsoft, Motorola, Ultratec, DeafNation, Bank of America and General Motors.

Too bad, Deaf Expo closed in 2005 and I don’t know if they ever will come back. Only time will tell
