Iron Man Movie!!
I’ve been reading Iron Man comic since I was little boy. I purchased my first comic book which is Iron Man and went crazy about it every since.
Iron Man is nothing like Spider-man or X-Men – all of those superheroes are special power or some kind of alien in them. Tony Stark who wear Iron Man armor and he has no special power. He depends on latest technology to make him powerful with his armor.
About two years ago, I found out that there’s a rumor that they are thinking about making movie for Iron Man comic but they kept delaying due to finding right scripts, right people and all of that. Last weekend, Comicon 2006 at San Diego, Marvel Team announced that Iron Man is one of three characters that will goes into movie. The tentative date is May 2008. Another two characters are Ant-Man and Hulk 2.
Iron Man’s villain in this movie will be Mandarin.

They also released its 1st Iron Man Movie poster. (See above) By the way, Spider-man 3 and Ghost Rider movie are coming in Summer 2007. They looks so cool. I cant wait!!

Rumor say that Tom Cruise would play as Tony Spark.
I was never a fan of Iron Man. However, since I love Marvel comics, I’d occasionally read some comics of Iron Man.
That’s just so cool there will be a movie! Ghost Rider too. There’s also rumors of an upcoming Wolverine movie and a Magneto movie (set in 1940′ to 60’s). I heard rumors of a Power Pack movie.
I’m not a fan of Hulk and the movie didn’t help make me like him any more.
So, with X-Men, Spider-Man, FF, Hulk, Nick Fury/S.H.I.E.L.D, Captain America, Daredevil, Elecktra, Punisher done, what’s next? (I’m waiting for Part 2 for Daredevil, Elecktra and FF.)
I’d love it if they did a Dr. Strange movie. Marvel needs to redo a Captain America movie. It would be great to have an Avengers movie. I’d love it more if they did a Spider-Woman movie. She-Hulk? Blah. Silver Surfer? Now, that would be interesting.
I rather to see Avengers the movie in real life than cartoon.
Well.. I got admit that Avengers in cartoon DVD movie is sooo cool to watch. I have own one.

I believe that movie will expand numbers of fans for different comics. My daughter gave me huge Marvel hardcover book last year and it explained a lot about media. Marvel and DC have been struggled with “Hollywood” for years.
Look like it’s finally paid off, many title will be in movie in near future.
I think Captain America deserve a movie — perhaps next time after Iron Man movie. Hehe….
