Yeah, I don’t blame you for that. I even submitted my video to confirmed for continue this program. LLVRS customer service failed – they never replied back to me.

What bother me the most is that they misleading deaf community and it are illegal in some states whether they made mistake or not. It is false advertising to me.

Bottom line, it is good lesson and hopefully LLVRS will do better next time.

Lifelinks tried to do something positive for the deaf community by offering to pay for free broadband from Comcast regardless of whether they used Lifelinks VRS or any other VRS provider. No other VRS company has ever done that, not even wealthy Sorenson. Yet, instead of gratitude, you are angry with us because the program ended, because hearing people abused our generosity and faked being deaf. Clearly, as a small company,our resources are limited. Hearing people outnumbered deaf people 9:1 in accepting our free broafband offer. We also provided free web cameras.We sent out e-mails to all users to make them aware that Comcast would be discontinuing the service.Perhaps, the e-mail address we had for some people was inaccurate. We tried and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you will find the Lifelinks VRS service satisfactory on its own merits. Lifelinks provided Spanish sign language even before it was mandated and even before it was reimbursed, because we truly care for the deaf community. 90% of our interpreters are CODA's and are well aware of deaf culture .
