Black Friday 2006
18 11 2006Have you heard of Black Friday? In case you didn’t know what it is –
Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, is historically one of the busiest retail shopping days of the year. Many consider it the "official" beginning to the holiday season. Most retailers will open very early and usually provide massive discounts on their products.
Although Black Friday is typically the busiest shopping day of the year in terms of customer traffic, it is not typically the day with the highest sales volume. That is usually either Christmas Eve, the last Saturday before Christmas.

I’ve noticed Black Friday has gotten popular every year. Same time, it can be pretty danger if some people are doing stupid like fighting over items or pushing during storm into the store.
Personally, my friend and I went Fry’s Electronics Store two years ago. We got up so early and attend little before 5:00 AM for Black Friday Sale. Whoa! Its long line already and we decide to stay inside car because it’s cold outside. We were drinking coffee and wait till the door open at 5:00 AM sharp. They only allow people from line to get in store first. Ugh!
We ended up did not get anything and the excitement is over. I am sure there’s some good stuff on big sale but is it worth? Well, if you have never been to Black Friday before, you should give it a try sometime. You will get the experience for yourself.
Many stores like Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal-mart, Target, JcPenney, etc always push hard for its annual Black Friday. Make sure you check it out local newspaper advertising or check it out online. Click here. (list all sale items online)

Also, if you have been there before, I guess you know what I am talking about.
Anybody plan to attend Black Friday this year?

to me, it’s bad time because I don’t have kind money to spend. Only if I’m darn rich. lololol
Yeah, I know what the Black Friday is. Its interesting to watch some people fighting over some stuff they wanted, like the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” toy action figures in the early 1990’s when my 2 boys were little I had seen some empty shelves just 15 minutes after the store opened.
Several years ago I noticed the Target ad saying that they were giving away the free “Hot Wheels” die cast toy cars to first 1,000 people. I was a collector. When I went there at 5:00 AM the next day expecting to see a long line of people, but it was much longer (not compared to some recent Sony Playstation 3 longest lines)so instead I went to another store that opened an hour earlier to find out some electronic stuff I wanted had been sold out. I returned to Target afterward, there was a last half of the line and I went ahead and got into the line. I ended up receiving an unusual Hot Wheels neon red Mustang Mach thats valued up to $35.00 according to a 2004 price Guide book. Some guys who saw it in my hand asked me if I wanted to trade it and I said “No thanks”. They looked disappointed. I still have it in a blister-packed.
We would go to any store like Best Buy, Target, Circuit City, etc at 5:00 AM on Black Friday and watch the people in a long line rush into the store when it opens like the horses with riders race down the hill called “Stampede & Suicide Race” that occurres yearly in Washington State.
