Grant, you should get a warrant for your warning before the police made the arrest on you. If without warning you, you would arrest for sure. Also, you threw into a cell for a "no" reason. You can appeal the court if you want to. You can win with your correction.

Lejon,

lol, that's what I was thinking too after reading Heather's post. I was like huh? How can you have warrant if police never gave her a ticket, etc. *stratched my head* Until you said "warning" - that made sense. I believed she meant warning too.

Heather: I think you misunderstood the difference in between a warrant and a warning. A warrant is a serious thing, worse than getting a ticket. A warning is when an officer lets you go. If you have a warrant in your record, the police officers HAVE TO arrest you.

So, I believe that you meant to use the term, "warning" instead of "warrant."

HAHA!! OH BOYEEE!!!! Shame on ya!!

I always have warrants for speeding, but they let me go.. Cause I have the MOST pretty baby boy in the back of the SUV, and they didn't want to give me a ticket, so they gave me warrant... And after that, I haven't speed again. HAHA!! Whew!!

$500 bucks you haven't paid.. I am glad you paid them off....

My record are CLEAN - no warrants or anything..

It happened to me too. It happened at right front of my house when i was forced to park. I was with my older son. I was about to get out of my car. My son said no no dont get out of the car now. I said hey this is my home and i am deaf. i got out but my son said to me get back in the car now.Because he heard the speaker from the trooper. So i get back inside and waited for the trooper to appear to my side window. Which was my new trooper for this hometown and that was why he did not know i was deaf. I told him that i wanted to get out now and i was deaf.He said oh ok then i got out of my car and talked to him. Guess what? He said i had missed a few bolts on my license plate. huh!!! I said oh that is all that u stopped me for.. He said it is required to have four bolts on the license plate. Do u want to know where the state is?? It is Connecticut..

At first, I did not see your vlog presentation about your first arrest. That's why I asked you about being more specific on your arrest and warrant. I just seen the introductory message to your vlog. I used the bookstore's public computer use to check out my email messages and clicked on your vlog. Yes, I was Oliver via another online alias.

First of all, NEVER attempt to get out of car! Put your hands on the steering wheel and wait for the police officer to approach you and your car. Use one hand to tell the police officer that you could not speak or hear. Wait for the police officer to instruct you what to do next like getting out of the car or ask for your vehicle registration, etc.

Many people are not really aware about being on the warrant without KNOWING it in the first place. So you should not feel bad or embrassed about being processed at the holding cell.

Your local police department DEFINITELY violated your civil rights under the ADA and Section 504 and the Sixteeth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The police station SHOULD have some kind of accomodation and accessibility.

You were kinda given the leeway for not being fined for your failure to use the seat belt.

What paternalistic attitude the police officers imposed upon you for calling your father without consulting you first.

Worst of all, I was wrongfully and falsely arrested pretty long time ago. I still disgressed about it.

Oliver,

Maybe I wasn't clear in my vlog. The main reason i was arrested because of my warrant due to first speeding ticket not paid couple of years prior to that day.

Glad you asked...

You did not explictly describe your arrest. What kind of lesson did you really learn? Could you be more specific about the lesson? :)
