Hey Grant, nice video! Glad I was able to sell such a cool device to you.

Anyone interested in a Treo 700wx like the one Grant bought from me through Sprint Relay? Let me know. Email me at robert.giuntoli@sprint.com. We are selling those devices for $199.99 after rebate with a $29.99 per month, data only plan. There is no extra charge for providing high speed internet to your laptop through Treo. The sale is available only through me or any authorized Sprint Relay representative.

Thanks,

RG

How do you like it? Better than SKIII? I’m curious.

I experimented a little bit about this; I used a BB8700g instead. It worked fine, but the Internet access speeds were too slow for my liking. If T-Mobile ever upgraded their cellphones to operate on the 3G network, count me in!

Hey Grant,

Nice display about laptop and your treo. I have gps with microsoft streets & maps that is hooked up with my laptop but never test it on the road. The GPS which I am using now is Garmin C330. You can set it up on the windshield and program it to tell you where to go from point A to point B with red lines to drive and white arrows to tell u which right or left to turn. You can save your favorite routes on it for future use like home, fav eating places. It works with plugging in the cigarette lighter. You may buy it at Fry’s as I think they sells around 270 dollars. I have used it on rental cars when I fly anywhere for business or pleasure.

Does your treo act as a modem to laptop or still use air card for its use? Let me know thanks. Keep in touch.

heh, that is cool.

yea it is neat to have laptop tethered with pda, treo, or smartphone with WM5.0. i love it !

if anyone cant figure out how to setup the laptop with their device. there is a software that is more helpful to connect your laptop with the device - either bluetooth or usb cable for connection. it is just cool.

software for treo or window mobile- PDAnet - http://www.junefabrics.com/
