Grant Laird Jr discussed about relay service online (web-based & text-based online) — as far as he know there’s only eight different providers that offer it. Do you know any other that also offer relay service online? Also, not all providers have same service like AOL Instant Messenger-supported; some of them work with flash-based and other used java-based programs. Only 2 or 3 that offers TTY-support at no extra charge or small fee.

A nice start to your list. Within my list and on a few others I’ve seen more complete and especially fair listings in alphabetical order especially using official corporation names followed by product names (e.g. GoAmerica - i711.com; and Verizon - IP-Relay). I will help by posting it when I verify some information. There are fifteen different video relay services not including those few and growing numbers of various “state associations of the deaf” VRS facilitated through CSDVRS, LLC. Keep up your good doings.

I know I listed both Relay Service Online (RSO) and VRS on DeafNetwork.com however I am focus on RSO in this post. (web-based / text-based only) Everyone’s talking about VRS all the times but not many people talk about RSO itself.
Do you know any other service that offer similar service?

Hmmm. There’s still SMS messaging (cell-to-cell texting). I have been searching for YIM service. IP-Relay also uses MSN in addition to the already established AIM relay service. I think that’s it — 8 RSO services. I’ll be interested to see what you and others find.
BTW, I went over to look at your Relay service list and noticed that the AIM name for Sprint Relay is misspelled. It’s SprintIP.
