Enjoyed watching your vlog about your experiences working with people with disabilities at your work. I was touched when you helped out with a one-legged guy who was feeling so down… Years ago, a co worker (with an invisible disability) and I, a Deaf person, were hired to organize different workshops on different issues for people with different disabilities. I got to understand many of them and their needs and concerns so I had and still have a high regard (respect) for them. They are as human as we are even though we see them as “hearing” people. They tell me that they are NOT disabled UNLESS they face barriers, inaccessibility, or discrimination. Garnt, you are a great role model to show we can work together with people with disabilities. Look forward to seeing more of your vlogs.
This topic is very interesting to me - could you let me know if you ever transcribe it, or subtitle it - presuming the information is useful to the hearing?
