DPN Protest with Tim Rarus

This workshop is very educational and same time you get real idea what it is like to be in protest. He also explained the difference between 1988 protest and 2006 protest.

Oh god. I hate Tim Rarus! He always gave me goosebumps with his comments. Always made me feel so damn GOOD to be Deaf.

Tim’s presentation mentioned that Hugh Hefner was inside the airplane is supposed to be Howard Hughes.
Howard Hughes builds airplanes in his days. Hugh Hefner is a Playboy empire owner.
An addititional information about when the DPN marchers marched to the Capitol, prior to leaving Gallaudet the DPN marched towards 8th Avenue and the police knew the march was not authorized. The DC Police shift commander came and pulled out his bullhorn from his offical police vehicle to notify the marchers to disperse or they will be arrested. The other police officer told the commander those marchers are Deaf. In turn radioed to the mayors office. Mayor Barry allowed the march to go on and make sure they are safe from cars because they cannot hear.
This is one of the most amazing stories I have heard and in real life police would put on their riot gears and start the melee. Instead the police was friendly and agreed with what Gallaudet demostrators were doing. We had the homeless, and people of color joining the march. An awesome sight!
Finally I can watch Tim’s presentation with my sunglasses! Lol Hugh Hefner, a playboy empire owner built the airplanes? Can’t picture of him … Hugh is old and still involved into the playboy world. Tim needs to reread the biography of both Hugh Hefner and Howard Hughes. I am sure Tim had alot in his mind and got mixed up with two similiar names. It is too bad I was not at the DPN March at that time. There was alot of going on my life at home. Happy Vlog!
