Interesting topic. If I would look back the time for dead domain website, I would try Internet Archives - http://www.archive.org/
Congratulations!

Clutter is beautiful. Says a lot about who the vloggers are.
Gary,
Are you sure Silent News is no longer? I just ordered the newspaper and never response for newspaper?
Grant,
I was filled up and requested for Silent News. and Never heard a words from them since I paid 20 dollars for Silent News for newspaper. I am disappointed I learn that it was no longer running business. I love it.
DeafPixie,
Maybe you mean SigNews?

Thank Grant,
I thought it was same as http://www.signews. Obviously, it still running? I am kind of confusion to read the website you typing (www.silentnews.com )
Silly me? I realized I misread it. Need new reading glasses!
Silent News used to be strong back in 70s and 80s — way before Internet is around. It barely survived when Internet just born plus we had another deaf newspaper like DeafLife, DeafNation, and Newswaves.
Note: All are hard-copy paper.
I noticed you did not mention one that has been around since the days of BBS (pre-internet) and that is, USA-L News. That’s far more than 10 years and one of the first Deaf news to go around. Then they were on e-Groups which was bought by Yahoo. Today, you can find USA-L News on Deaf Times.
It was once believed USA-L News put Silent News out of business. That’s not true.
Please give credit where it is due.
Thank you.
You just did. Thanks!
Again, this post is about real website and domain. I am pretty sure USA-L has never had its own website and/or domain. Maybe someday?
WOW 10 year? i didnt know…. very good job… I am looking forward to see this deafnetwork grow bigger.. to be honest the deafnetwork really did help alot in deaf communtiy..we appreciate deafnetwork time and work as well as your contribution to the deaf comminutiy..

Two more for you Grant!

2. http://www.deafdigest.net
Deaftech.com is pretty much dead. According to arhieve.org, the last posted was in Feb. 2006.
Grant, how about create a new page here — list of all the websites you mentioned above — and have a little description (”About” which you’ll find on many websites) for each website. I don’t recalled some of them and I’m curious as to what the website were about.
