Did Jeep Dealer misleading us? Since I use Gmail (Google Email) frequently and I saw this Google advertising "ada OK Truck" – What the hell is that? I went ahead and click it to see for myself. It is nothing but Jeep advertising. Sigh.
In case you didn’t know how it works, Google Advertising crawling all words from this email. In this case, it is about closed captioning and disabled which trigged "ada" then it appeared like that.
This is silly – there’s no such thing as ada ok truck out there.

You are truly ignorant. Ada is a city in Oklahoma. OK is the abbreviation for Oklahoma.
I had the same thing happen to me while searching for a remote to open my garage door. One was labeled “ADA Compliant” and on investigating why it was labeled that way, found that no one had done tests on it or certified it in any way…just an advertising gimmick.
Get a Hummer with everything that meets ADA standards, ha. Watch out other non-disabled drivers.

Gosh! You’re probably right. I guess Google didn’t do very good when it comes with “ada”. I wonder why didn’t they use “Ada, OK” instead of “ada ok”.

the Ada, OK town would make slight sense – but no self-respecting corporate marketing person would advertise their local dealership like that and having a link to the parent website…. but if that is the case, then thats midwestern thinking for you…

Wow, that is pretty funny! I have Gmail also and have seen some pretty strange ads mixed in there. One time I saw an ad that simply said “Test” in both the headline and body text. Naturally I couldn’t resist clicking through on it and discovered that it was just someone’s sales/landing page (Internet marketing product), and the person was probably testing out the CTR on keywords with little competition and relatively low price per click.
It’s also fun to click around in the Gmail Spam folder and see links to Spam recipes (the food, not the email variety) across the top.
