I think you missed the point of using PIN numbers on the Blackberry. It bypasses the server and it goes straight to the blackberry. Pin to Pin communications are definitely faster than any sms or aim or email.
SK2 is worthless to protect, can break in with pin number / password, I posted it in my blog sometime ago:

Also, I wonder does SK3 does the same thing?
Glad to see that you are using the Palm Treo! It is pity that Palm hasn’t even gotten to the Marketing 101 when it comes to advertising and marketing its products, especially the Treo products.
Lot of deaf people in Germany clamoured over my Treo 750v when they saw what I did with it. Touchscreen, third party softwares, Internet access, etc. They regretted purchasing mobile telephones (useless except for SMS), Sidekicks (they are notorious for breaking down too easily), MDA Vario (too bulky), Pocket Web (really shitty), etc.
What is the screen name for IP Relay on Yahoo! Messenger? I have had troubles downloading AIM on my Blackberry Curve. Any suggestions?
Please email me.
Thanks!
