When in doubt, ask your friend, family or co-workers!! Do not be afraid!!!

I had some exeperience with those scammers. They can’t win over me becuase I knew it were so scammers so easy. I always keep cool when he/she ask me about money and etc. I always quickly talk back and block them in sametime so fast. Wondering why they do that for? I do believe scammers are slave by someone control them to demand for something.
Scammers are out there preying on everyone. It is terrible that people would stoop to these criminal acts to make a dollar. I often have calls from peo0ple asking me if something is a scam or not. I can’t always know from the little bit of information they give me. So I always warn them to follow a few steps. First, check out sites like http://www.snopes.com to see if a similar “offer” has been found out to be a scam. Ask around before you do anything. If the person making the “offer” is trying to rush you, don’t let them. Pressure is their biggest bait. Lastly, when all else fails, put a little faith in your guy instinct. If it feels wrong at all, you are likely right. And, remember you can always ask a lawyer what they think. Often it could be handled with a simple telephone conference at no charge.
I like your Blog Grant. First time here. Best wishes.
I know. They been “scamming” me thru AIM, emails and even door-to-door. Ugh! One person knocked on our door and asking if we are interest buying one of their diamond investment. I told him that I am not. My husband tells me that he doesn’t believe there is diamond investment. Ugh!! I am being careful with my own money.
Evenually many dating sites are a scam, they claim they are deaf and want to meet you unless you send them money and mostly from overseas like Africa, etc. Never use online dating. If you want a realtionship, go to churches, deaf events or others and it’s more safer that way.
Well one of the most famous scams I know so far is the Quixtar. Many of friends, including myself did join once (I’m glad I choose the lowest option to join the membership which was about $50 dollars vs those who pay $150 or more). I did join for the experience, I know for a fact you can earn money but you have to “force” someone to join under you and also buy stuff online in order for the top person to make profit.
For instance on Quixtar store, you can join a member for free I believe but then you won’t earn any money(correct me if I’m wrong). You would typically pay 20-30 percent more(often the actual MSRP of the product). For an example you may find a tv that costs $600 and go to walmart.com and get the same tv for about $550 or less. Hence thats the profit the company Quixtar gains plus the person above you gains and sometimes yourself get some money back no it. I find it wasteful that you’re actually helping someone above you when you could save it to yourself.
Also it is alot of work to persuade someone to join. Only benefit you get is when someone joins under you, you actually get compensated for it, but bad thing is if those who join don’t buy anything or quit, you actually won’t earn any more money from it and have to work hard to get someone else to join. I feel the work you put onto it, could be used to get an actual job out there and earn more money quicker than the time put to Quixtar and earning less (considering the hours you have to work and persuade).
Last thing I would like to mention, we all know Quixtar is a big company in Michigan, I actually joined someone to go there for hours worth of driving to there and was nice at first(you see all the fancy stuff, rich feeling environment) but then realized they could not afford a professional interpreter(I have phoned 2 weeks before), instead we had someone who was incompentent on ASL(that person who works for actual company Quixtar who thought she was an expert because she can sign) and this turned me off, at that moment, I knew Quixtar was a ripoff.
Also if you want more research, check out Quixtar and the bad history of Amway(it was thier previous name until they had issues with government and they had to change their name to Quixtar to improve thier image). Everything they do, they actually is a legal pyramid scheme as they report taxes to govt. etc.
Well that’s my thoughts and if anyone else have any disagreements, that’s fine. I love hearing opinions, etc from those who love it or not.
